The label captures the elegance of Parisian couture with an injection of European sophistication. What I like about Rohmir is that it is stylish but not overly ‘fashion’ focused. Each piece is effortlessly sexy in a way that I think all men would like to see women dress. The woman behind the label herself is a force to be reckoned with. Hailed from Russian nobility, Roh’s background combines a career in the fashion industry with academia. After a career in modelling, she studied at the Instituto Marangoni fashion campus in London and the University of Bern Switzerland. Roh even holds a PhD. She splits her time between London, Hong Kong, Berlin, Zurich, Monte Carlo and Moscow, living up to the jet-set lifestyle.
The Rohmir name derives from the meaning of ‘Roh’s Universe’ in Russian which reflects the brand’s essence. There is a standalone store in Mayfair, London and other stockists across the world. It might not be a famous brand to many of us, but those who can afford it are certainly in the know. Made in Chelsea star Binky, wore the Charleston dress for her appearance on Come Dine with Me, part of the C4 Mash Up.
