Coleen Rooney hasn’t been able to hide her body away this month like the rest of us post-Christmas. She’s been stripping down to a bikini on the beach in Florida to shoot the spring/summer campaign for Littlewoods catalogue. Coleen has been working with Littlewoods since 2010, when they welcomed her on board as a style editor, and designer of her own clothing, footwear and bedding range.
25 year-old Coleen had her first child in 2009, and has worked a lot on her body as an advocate for ‘real women’ of all shapes and sizes. In the pictures of the shoot, published by the Daily Mail, Coleen is clearly no size 6 model, but is nonetheless, not afraid of the camera. She is seen wearing a candy pink, ruffle bikini with cute button detailing, a black bikini and black jersey maxi dress. Her hair was left loose and lightly curled for a relaxed beach babe look. On the previous day’s shoot she wore a ruffle blue bikini and a black and white print bikini.
Coleen signed a £2million deal to become the face of Littlewoods in June 2010. The deal came after she previously modelled clothing in a £3million deal for Asda's George range from 2006 until 2008. Coleen, who has written for Closer and OK! Magazine, was once featured in Vogue. She made her own series for ITV called Coleen's Real Women in which she was labelled as "The nation's favourite girl next door" and has produced exercise videos. She has achieved a lot of her age, and is clearly not your average stereotypical WAG. Will Littlewoods airbrush her bikini shoot? No doubt.
